RAWS Australia Takes Their Evidence Online

RAWS Online is an exciting new joint venture involving RAWS Australia and Rob Ogilvie. As of February 2007 RAWS Online will be the only way to get evidence packages produced by RAWS Australia. RAWS Plates top 17000

This week saw the number of plates issued under RAWS exceed 17,000 - the total being 17,013. There are now 138 RAWS, 395 SEVS Eligible rulings, and 737 plates were issued last month.
The leading vehicles being plated are Skyline R33 (4,818), Spacegear (3,871), Skyline R34 (1,140), Supra (1,047) and Soarer (991). As you can see, Skyline R33 plus Spacegear account for more than half of all plates issued under RAWS.
RAWS Statistics for 2006 (to end November)

Nearing the end of 2006 we thought you might be interested in some statistics collated on the RAWS industry for year-to-date 2006. As at 30 November 2006 there were:

RAWS Plates reach 13000

The number of plates issued under the RAWS topped 13000 during the week ending 16th June 2006. The number of plates issued during 2006 has been around 500 per month, but May was a big move at 760 for the month.
AAIMA Inc Negotiates an Organisation Gas Licence

Australian Auto Importers & Manufacturers Association began negotiating with the Minister in March of last year when the Ozone gas licence situation became known to our industry. Through the hard work of its President, Bryan Hubbard, AAIMA has now negotiated for a single licence to cover all financial members, who may lodge their import figures and pay their fees thru the one AAIMA return.
